Katie is a dark-bay Quarter Horse with a very sweet but very shy temperament. Before coming to the sanctuary, she was used only as a pasture pal for her person's main riding horse. Katie had never been ridden and arrived at Best Friends a very nervous gal. But, she has a bright future ahead of her since she began Parelli Natural Horsemanship training. Katie has grown more trusting and has responded quickly to respectful and kind handling. This mare was born in xxxx, and given that she was never ridden, she isn't being trained under saddle. At one time, Katie suffered a shoulder injury and bears a long scar, but it causes her no problems. This mare needs a Parelli adopter who has officially passed the Level-3 Parelli Savvy requirements.
