Born in xxxx, Bryce is an impressive, coal-black Percheron/Quarter Horse cross. As a young fellow, Bryce caught his right front hoof in a metal gate and did some permanent damage as he struggled to free himself. Four surgeries later, it now appears that he's doing just fine even if he can't be ridden!
Bryce will always be lame, but other than a bit of arthritis in his hoof, he's a healthy pasture pal! In fact, on many days you'd hardly notice that right hoof as he gallops around his pasture, kicking up his heels with every stride.
Bryce enjoys being around horses and people. At one time, Bryce was even used as a therapy horse. This beautiful black gelding walks over and introduces himself to anyone who comes to visit, and he's more than happy to accept a scratch behind the ears or along his belly.

Because Bryce needed quite a bit of medical attention since coming to the Sanctuary, he wasn't adoptable for a long time. Now that he's back on his feet (or...hooves) he's ready, willing and so hopeful he'll find his forever home. Bryce is an easy keeper who would love to provide companionship for you and your horses.
