Scott's family left him and his friend Lizzy behind when they had to move. So, the two spent one year at an animal shelter. Unfortunately, neither was adopted so the decision was made to euthanize them. However, in the nick of time kind volunteers stepped in and brought them to the Sanctuary.
Scott wasn't terribly socialized when he first arrived, but he's now learning to trust people and look forward to visits from his new human friends. In fact, Scott likes to show off his skills. He can use a doggie door, he loves walks, and he adores sunbathing. But never underestimate the power of belly rubs and being scratched behind the ears. Such ecstasy!
