Ava was only a year old when she was left in a crate on the steps of a clinic in xxxx. From there she came to Best Friends, where she has lived ever since. She keeps her distance from people, usually watching them from high up in the rafters. With other cats, though, Ava is mellow and snuggly. Ava is hoping to find a home where she's not expected to be a needy lap cat, and she can just hang out with other kitties.
